Anyone in Florence now?

I've been checking the weather websites and one listed the high today as 80 degress and one listed the high as 72. Just trying to get a feel for how toasty (or not) I'll be there next Tuesday so I'm packing now. Any real live feedback?
Thanks!

I am in Perugia, 90 mins from Florence - it is nice and warm but was threatening rain - we can have heavy rain storms at this time of the year but they don't usually last long.
The usual advice is layers - nothing heavy needed.

No...I'm in Montego Bay Jamaica...wishing I was in Firenze at this very moment...hmmm...maybe if I wish hard enough my wish fairy might abracadabra me there!
Nope...didn't work.
Wish I was the one going next Tuesday! Have a good trip!

I live 30 mins north of Florence in the hills. It's been an extremely unpredictable Spring, so bring an array of options. Last couple of days have been really warm, which brings the rain. Bascially it could be anwhere from mid 60's to low 80's, rainy or sunny or both, and definitely brisk at night, so bring layers. Or pack light to give you an excuse to buy clothes as needed! No better way to justify splurges on cute summer skirts and sandals than immediate necessity.

Thanks for all the replies! I like you're style. Thanks for the good wishes. I guess layers is the order of the day. Just wanted to pack light. My husband won't be with me to help with my luggage lol
So I guess shopping won't be a problem : )
Our weather in Los Angeles is crazy too. Sunny one minute, overcast the next.
