Anyone flown Swissair to Rome???
My husband and I have a free companion ticket on either TWA or Swissair for Europe. From the searches I have done - Swissair seems quite a bit less.

I am not familiar with this airline. Would appreciate comments from anyone who has flown with them. We would changed planes in Zurich.

Good evening, Kimee Have used Swissair a number of times into and returning from Zurich with connecting
service to Rome. Tho each individual has
their own opinions, I rate SR very highly over other carriers, tho this is
my opinion. The only suprising fact on how Fuimicinio has grown in the last few
years, it is very large..

Flew Swissair from Milan (via Zurich) to Chicago a few weeks ago --- ticket was thru American frequent flyer miles & used Swissair as one of their code share partners.
Flight was fine; no better, no worse than other carriers that I've used for transatlantic flights. If they've got the best price, then go for it.

Swissair does a first rate job. TWA is a bit old and tired (and on it's way out). And doesn't fly to Rome I think,

You don't say where you're flying from, but if you'll connect in Zürich that airport and SR's hub there tend to work quite well.

twenj

Kimee: We flew Swissair from Zurich to Rome a few years ago. The service was fine; crew attentive; food okay; but best of all when you disembark they give you chocolate bars!

Zurich Airport is a breeze; very easy to get through, even changing terminals.

Swissair is the best airline in the world ! I only fly Swissair or its subsidiary partners. There is no airline like it. And Zurich Airport is the most organised, yet least stressful you will ever fly through (though the duty-free shopping is crap).
