Anyone familiar with Hotel De Turenne, Paris?

It's on the Avenue Tourville, near the Invalides and the Ecole Militaire. Two stars. Very close to the Ecole Militaire metro stop.

The following website may tell you a little more about the hotel.
http://www.france-hotel-guide.com/h7...renneengl.html
It is one of the few I have seen that advertises a family style room.
As Al said, the location puts it close to tourist attractions.
I considered it last year, in fact it was on my short list of three hotels.
But I decided on another; one that I don't recommend.
The pictures make the de Turenne look good, but I don't think you can tell for sure until you actually go there. The prices listed on the web site sound fine.
I stayed there several years ago. It was fine. Room very small but adequate.
Cute little breakfast room in the cellar. English speaker at the desk.

Just returned from Paris staying 3 nights at Hotel de Turenne. Great location, safe neighborhood, close to Metro, very close to EIffel Tower. Air conditioning was a real plus for summer visit, pleasant staff, large bathroom. Now the bad side. Carpet very dirty, shabby wallpaper, small rooms. A little bit of cleaning could have made the room a huge bargain. As it was, it was a decent deal considering the price 670 FR for 4 beds.
