Anyone ever used Hotwire for Madrid?

There's a 5-star central Madrid listing right now that I'm pretty sure is the Westin Palace. Can't decide whether to go for it (I've used Hotwire plenty of times in the US, but never in other countries).

Whether it goes as smoothly elsewhere as it goes here.

I wouldn't worry about that. I've used Hotwire for London before and got a Holiday Inn. I called a few days after the hotwire win, and they had no trouble finding my reservation.

I just booked a Paris hotel via Hotwire for September this year.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but if I do, I'll be sure to report. Our trip to Madrid is August 25-29 (although we're leaving home for Cairo on august 15th). I'll be baaaaack
