Hey, hey, this thread is about single men out there. It's not about Surlok. Surlok can write his posts in Swahili and I don't give a hoot!
Now, let's get going with this thread.

Great idea! Anybody want to date/travel with Guess who? She sounds like a real peach!

I agree with grasshopper that it is highly unlikely that anything Surlock did re odd characters made the thread go away - a more likley explanation is that someone posted something extremely offensive or that Fodors just don't want "dating" threads on the board or that is is simply one of those posting things that have been experienced in the recent past.

Don't agree, however, that everyone has to post in English - maybe there is a rule and perhaps I missed it. It is an international board and we have been lucky enough to get advise from locals in Europe and other travellers that bring a different perspective based on their country of origin. I have seen exchanges in French, Italian & German in the past and no-one has complained.

Regards ... Ger

Guess Who,

I'm SORRY! I misread the posts. You weren't the mean one, a previous poster was. Again, I apologize for my remarks!

Christina, I post on a general-interest message board as well as this one. On occasional, someone will post something -- html code, unusual characters, or what-have-you -- which not only screws up the entire thread, but screws up the entire board.

Software developers sometimes (some might say often) fail to provide for -- and/or test for -- every single possibility. Hence, the infamous "bugs."

We now return you to our regularly-scheduled program: "Any single men out there?" :~)

Before we get back to the regular programming...did someone get on this thread who is a female looking for other females but pretending to be a male? Or a male looking for single men? Just checking before I direct any single friends to this post....
