Any last minute tips on Barcelona?

We are leaving Adalucia tomorrow after 7 days! I'm a little sad. We loved it here!! Looking for any last minute tips in Barcelona.
Staying in the Eixample barrio, my youngest is getting a bit tired. We've been in Spain a week and a half. He really likes to climb trees, play around, and eat ice cream. I think the heat has gotten to him a bit and we are looking forward to college temps! Already booked for Sagrada Familia. More churros like San Gines in Madrid would be great!! Thx!!!

Sounds like a fabulous trip!! We were just in Andalucia in March and loved it!! Probably a little bit of beach time for the young one would be in order. Barceloneta is very close, just part of the city. Also I'm sure he would love Parc Guell. We stupidly didn't have churros until our last day in Barcelona so can't make any recommendations (we did NOT make that mistake when in Andalucia!!)

Here is a link to my trip report with pictures. Our kids were 11 and 14 at the time - not sure the age of your kids:

Night time sound and light show at one of the main plazas - I'm sure you can find the info when you get there.

You might find something in the fabulous Boquería food market, one of the finest in Europe. Just off Las Ramblas: http://www.boqueria.info/index.php?lang=en
