Any Budget Accomodation Recommendations for Paleokastritsa Corfu?
Hello,
I will be in Corfu for a week in June and am mulling over where to stay....I do want a few nights in Corfu Town, but would like a few late days at the beach that the bus schedule may not allow for. As such I am thinking of basing out of Paleokastritsa - does anyone know of some good budget options (no more than 50E/night)?
Thanks,
Murphy

Take a look here - http://www.imvarma.co.uk/corfu_site/
It's well within your budget and looks quite pleasant. Used to be sold by UK tour operators Cosmos, but has gone independent this year.

Thanks Xenos!
Sorry for the delay in response - I have been without internet for a week!
I'll check this site out - I've had some luck looking around....seems prices are drastically reduced in the off-season - even in June.
Cheers,
Murphy

Murphy,
If you fancy doing something a little different whilst you're on Corfu, you could take a seaplane trip to the neighbouring island of Paxos - www.airsealines.com/index.htm
I haven't done it myself yet, but it's on my list of must-dos for this summer because all the reports I've read say that the views are really spectacular. The summer schedules aren't published yet, but there are normally several flights a day between the two islands in the summer months.
