Back home to four cats, two of our own and too on loan from DD the older and SIL the younger who flew to LA and will visit Hawai with a 17-18 week pregnancy. She married almost her age whereas DDthe Younger married 5 years older. Neither of them were wise enough to see the benefits of having 15 year older husbands like their mother.
The airplane food was really terrific, especially the sauteed eggplant and tomatoes and the pinto beans. 2/5 hr flight went quickly despite the limited leg room.
Called to dinner, so will give run-down on that after dinner and a movie.

I think it was your reservation for a Mercedes that made the passport control agent go crazy... just kidding, well maybe not..
Funny how some people become less than human beings when you put them in a uniform.
If it is any relief, these people are also not necessarily very welcoming when they check citizens.
