Blamona, Caribzack & others, which sailing trip do you recommend??

Blamona & Caribzack,

As you know, I've been planning our trip in June to T&C. Can you suggest a sailing trip for us to enjoy? We will want to take our 16 month old with us to enjoy the day. Snorkeling not necessary, but would like to visit outlaying cays/beaches. Private charter not necessary, fine w/ other on board. I'm assuming not too full that time of year. We do prefer actual sailing vessel, but not sure if Turks has them like BVI does.

As always, thanks for your suggestions!

Thanks anyway Caribzack! I've done some research, looks like Sail Provo will allow our son on board which is great. Haven't heard back from Sail Beluga yet and didn't see any others that were more sailing trips.

Blamona, if you can, please give me your feedback, I think you've had experience with both of these.

Thanks so much! I'm starting to count down the days, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Caribzack,

Decided on Grace Bay Villas. It was a difficult decision, was really torn between Somerset (per yours and Blamona's feedback) Gransevoort, after Blamona's trip report and GBV after Blamona's other suggestion. After reading several comments about GBV on Tripadvisor, it really looked like everything we wanted, plus DH really wanted beach beds on the beach so he and DS could relax out of the sun, and I wanted lots of pampering service. I hope we won't be disappointed!

I do plan on visiting Somerset for dinner though, per your suggestion and checking it out. I have a feeling it won't be our last visit there!

Thanks so much for all your help! I'll do a trip report when I return.

I don't remember seeing beach beds on the beach at Grace Bay Club=definately by the pool. I could be wrong, but I think they are only at the pools.

Gansevoort has a couple of round "beach beds" on the beach.

GBC is a gorgeous resort, kinda has a Four Seasons feel to it.

I can't wait for your trip report, although I'm sure you can wait to write it! (So your vacation doesn't happen too fast--;-) )
