We are traveling to Spain in April - we have 10 days to visit Seville, Granada and squeeze in one more city...any recommendations on the number of days per location or third location would be great!

Are you flying home? If so, if you are not flying home from Seville or Granada, then that city would have to be your third city. If(?) you still have days left, Cordoba is an easy day trip from Sevilla.

I would have done 4-5 days in Sevilla, 1-2 days in Granada and 2-3 days in either Córdoba or Málaga. Córdoba and Málaga are both wonderful and quite different cities full of history, culture, great cafés, bars, restaurants, theaters, sights and genuine Andalucian atmosphere.

For example in Málaga (by the sea), within 300 meters in the city center you'll find the newly excavated Roman theater, the 8-11th century Moorish Alcazaba, the 16th century cathedral, Picasso's birth-place and the Picasso museum and the brand new Carmen Thyssen Museum. http://www.andalucia.com/cities/malaga/home.htm

The major airport in the region is Málaga followed by Sevilla. And Sevilla, Córdoba and Málaga are connected through the excellent high speed AVE train system. Some 40 minutes from Sevilla to Córdoba and some 50 minutes between Córdoba and Málaga, city center to city center.

We loved Andalucia. We traveled to Seville (4 days) Granada (2 days), Malaga (2 days) and Cordoba (day trip from Seville). We also did a couple of days in the White Villages, staying in Ronda. We ended our trip with 3 days in Gaucin, a small town in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean. We loved every stop

Thanks Greg, Kimhe, mamcalice & Yorkshire for your replies to my post. We are traveling from Madrid towards the cities and back up to Madrid for a flight to Lisbon. Thanks for the tip re Easter fair in Seville. I will do a bit more planning and reading up, but at least I know that it is possible to include a third destination which is very exciting! Will check out Cordoba and Malaga.
