Andalucia, Spain in September - central bases?
My husband and I are visiting Andalucia in September for 8 days with two young children, aged 6 and 8. There are so many places we want to visit but don't want to spend the whole time checking in and out of hotels. We were thinking of staying at Conil de la Frontera for five nights and then doing day trips to Cadiz, Ronda and Tarifa and then staying in Seville for four nights and doing day trips to Granada and Cordoba. Does anyone have advice whether this would work or would it be better to stay in different hotels in each city/town? Have I missed any "must sees" in Andalucia?

We usually stay in Zahara DLF.
Four nights in Seville is perfect.
Conil is a pretty good base, very good beach and the road connections are good. Conil to Ronda is quite a trek, I woul personally go from Conil to Granada round the coast and spend a night in Ronda. Be careful of the inland mountain roads which can be torture.

Thanks for your quick reply - and great advice regarding the inland mountain roads - you can't see that on the maps! Out of interest - where in Zahara to you usually stay? I'm looking for any recommendations of accommodation. Many thanks

Hotel Antonio was wonderful, fresh fish and on the beach.
Last time we stayed was 4 years ago, so may be an idea to check TA.
We love this area, along with Charleston, Seville is our favourite city in the world. Still avoids world culture.
