We are spending 3 1/2 weeks in Spain starting this weekend! It will be myself, my husband who will be working remotely at times, and our 9 yo daughter who is adventurous and loves food but can get bored (like all kids).

Our current plans are:
7 nights Madrid (we have family we will be visiting)
7 nights Sevilla
3 nights Ronda
4 nights Granada
1 night Cordoba
1 night Madrid - leave back to Denmark before heading to Boston

We are traveling via public transport only and these dates / nights are firm due to work schedules. All locations are booked except Cordoba.

So, a few requests for recommendations please!
1. How's the bus ride from Sevilla to Ronda? It seems Damas is the only option as the train is too long. Anyone done this?
2. any winery, hikes or day tour recommendations in Ronda? I saw some references to cave paintings and that could be fun though we only have time for 1 full day excursion - the rest would need to be a few hours (again due to work). Daughter will ok with winery as long as she can run around, maybe see some cats or have food to eat.
3. Have your kids enjoyed flamenco shows? We will likely see one at some point but am wondering what might be best kid friendly.
4. Any favorite places for kids in Sevilla or Granada since we will be there a bit longer? She will absolutely get museum/cathedral fatigue though having audio or interactive tour guides can make this go better.
5. Any favorite family-friendly tour options in these place for tapas, neighborhood tours, or site tours that were especially good for kids?
6. In Cordoba we are spending one night essentially to help get back to Madrid the next day at a reasonable time (more train options) and will go to the Mezquita that night. We will likely try and go to the 5 or 6pm slot. Any time preference? Any hotel recommendations near the train/Mezquita?

Thank you all so much! Generally most online sites leave out kids or assume you'll just drag the kids everywhere. We generally try and find a balance for her developmental stage and our own interests.

One thought is the length of the day in Spain. Because of the siesta you'll see kids in restaurants at 11 at night as well as up at 8am. So you may need to reorganise your day to Spanish time.

2) Children and Bodegas normally do not mix. They cannot drink, they will not be interested in the story about the wine. Cats may not be interested, even if you can find any.

We took the Damas bus from Sevilla to Ronda and back early March 2020, just before the Covid lockdown. Comfortable and uneventful, it’s a short ride, about 1.5hrs or so. We were jet lagged on the way out and even managed to catch some sleep. Don’t know what the OP’s concerns are, but nothing to worry about IMO.

Great to hear the bus is comfortable and reliable.
Daughter has done great traveling with us for a long time now. I'm just wondering for those with families what their kids really enjoyed in these locations.

The Eurostars Palace in Cordoba is a 15 minute walk from the train station.

We stayed there in 2019. Nice hotel, walking distance to everything of interest in Cordoba.

Doesn't this happen for all kids all the time!? I think my daughter will love this schedule.

There is a cave-house museum in granada, museo cuevas del sacromonte that should appeal to all ages.
