Amsterdam Beer and Bike
Hi everyone,
We are looking at booking an Amsterdam beer and bike tour during our stay (August 11-16th 2016).
Does anyone have any recommendations on what company we should use? There are only two of us, so we are looking at a Shared Group tour that we could book, instead of booking out the entire bike. I have done some research and found www.beerbike.co.uk.
Has anyone used this company before, or do you recommend any other ones we should use? They are based in the UK but organise the beer and bike tours in Amsterdam.
Thanks for any advice!

DON'T. These tours are the scourge of Amsterdam and the people who think this is a good idea and are on it are universally hated.

Given that the beer of Belgium is world class and the beer of the Netherlands is as bad as it is in the USA, why would you do this in Amsterdam?

There are more craft breweries in the Netherlands than Belgium nowadays, producing excellent beer.
Heineken etc are awful, but plenty of really good alternatives nowadays -'t Ij, Jopen, Maximus to name but three.
As to beer bikes, they are a nuisance at best, and fatal at worst. Don't do it, especially as you will be served rubbish beer. Amsterdam has talked to the providers of these things and agreed some "rules" but could still end up banning them. Some are also technically unsafe.
