Does anyone know if the airport has a website so I can look at the floorplan for an ATM machine as soon as I arrive? Thanks.

Not to worry!! In the large room full of the luggage carousels, you'll find several ATMs. While you're waiting for your bags to show up you can get all the guilders you want. It is a very civilized country.

Bob <BR>So as not to be rushed when you get there, why not check with your local bank to see if they can get you some Amsterdam currency before you go. I know here one bank, where we have an account, does not charge for foreign currency. We usually get a couple hundred for the first country we hit so that it is not a rush to find the machine and can tip or taxi whatever to our accomodations/car rental etc.

If you use the Chase service and you live in the New York City/Long Island/Westchester area you can arrange to pick up your money from Chase eliminating the delivery charge. I believe they also waive the delivery charge if you have Chase accounts.
