Ampitheatre in Ephesus

Are there still concerts in the Grand Ampitheatre, and if so, how do I find out about them? thanks

At the moment there are series of classical concerts in Aspendos theatre in Antalya. Ephesus concerts are not fixed ones but I am sure there will be few this summer. I will check for you and repost here.

Here are the programs I found as promissed:
SOPHOKLES: "ELECTRA" 18th June by Izmir State Theatre 21:30
22nd June Concert by British Royal Philarmony Orchestra by: Gennadi Rozhdestvensky
at 21.30

Yesterday were “Mikis Theodorakis & Triphono Voice Ensemble

There are several activities at Cesme open air theatre in June & July.

"Rumî" Béjart Ballet Lausanne
20 June at Izmir Open Air Theatre at 21:30

They stopped using it for rock concerts after Metallica nearly made it fall down again.

That's interesting ;-)
I only recall metallica (and searched for on the web)is in Istanbul in 1993.

No one would allow Metallica to even tune their guitars at Ephesus !

There has been discussions about concerts at Ephesus and as far as I know only unplugged concerts are allowed.
