It can be a little chili, but don't miss the chance to go. The weather is like Los Angeles in March. I reciently spent two and a half months in Italy traveling down one side and up the other. There is nothing like it. I was on a 7 month trip. Went to Eastern Europe too. I kept a journal with weekly budgets and had it published when I came home. It's called A JOURNEY FOR THREE SEASONS. If you want to know how to travel cheaply and have a lot of fun without a tour, you can get it at Amazon.com, or just write to me. Have a great trip. It's too bad you only have one week.

Go David!

The Amalfi coast is beautiful. I've been there in Nov. and mid-March. It was a bit chilly for just a t-shirt in March and there was a brief thunderstorm one day. The next day was sunny and I got great pictures on Capri. Sorrento and Capri were not crowded and traffic on the Amalfi coast was light. It's a good time of year for sightseeing and walking or hiking.

As everyone else says, don't miss a trip to Ravello!
