For what it's worth, I saw them in late March from Reykjavik -- but I hate to have people place TOO much emphasis on needing to see the Northern Lights to make the trip complete. That's just because it can be very unpredictable. Cloud cover or conditions for the display just may not occur. It's really neat bonus when it happens though!
