Allowed to carry "wet ones" in carryon?
I called a TSA agent on the phone and asked him whether "wet ones" hand sanitizing wipes were allowed in a carryon since it wasn't listed on their site.
He told me yes, as long as they were less than 3 oz - he seemed to think they would be in a bottle of some sort.
I corrected him, and told him that although they did have liquid on them, they were not in a bottle, but would be wrapped in a package. He then said he thought they would be fine, and would not need to be put in the one quart bag.
Has anyone actually taken them on the planes since the new law? Were they allowed in the US, but not in Europe?

"Insure that the package is un-opened when you go through the security check"
Whether the package has been opened or not is irrelevant. As others have said they are not liquid and are not a problem.
I have a package in my carryon (an opened one) and have had no issue across Europe and the US.
