This is strange: I have booked Day Time tickets using my CC and supposedly completed the transaction. However, no confirmation rceived via email, and to make things worse: when checking their site under Ticket Collection, I get a "no tickets awaiting collection for this card" (i.e. my CC). Has anyone had this experience before?

Well I finally got an answer indirectly, by re-booking. This time, a window came back with a message saying that since my CC was not issued in Spain, I cannot print my tickets at the machine but have to collect them from the people at the ticket booth.
"...not issued in Spain..."??? Haven't these people heard of the Global Village? Previous posts on this forum gave me the impression that people did book online and collect from the machine, presumably with a foreign CC...

Hmmm... interesting. I remembered I got a confirmation email and instruction that I HAVE to bring my CC w/me in order to get my ticket from the machine.
I would still suggest you try the self-service machine first. There's no line for the machines when I went. Whereas the regular line for the ticket booth is very long.

I just was at the Alhambra last week. and I booked my tickets online and I got a confirmation email and I used the machines to get my tickets.
My CC is not from Spain. Try another car or ask your hotel to get you tickets if you are having trouble.

Galaxy, did yout email confirmation have this clause: "The tickets bought with a card that was not issued in Spain can only be collected in the ticket office at the venue, where you should present the card you used to make your purchase and an official identity document"? But I will definitely start by giving the machine a try
