Airport Connection
Hello - is one hour enough time to make a connection at Athens airport, incoming from international (Austrian) for aegean air flight to Chania? Thanks!

No. Don't risk it. You have to collect your bags then go upstairs and re-check them for the Aegean flight. Even if your flight from Austria arrives on schedule it's not enough time.

Have you asked Austrian if they have a code share agreement with Aegean to check your bags through? If they don't then there isn't enough time.

I don't think 1 hour is enough for a transfer anywhere, anytime. That's just me but I hate to stress out. 90 mins. is my absolutely minimum.

Thanks, I kinda had a feeling... I was hoping to catch one of the great fares on Aegean leaving at 3:00 pm on that day. But, with luck maybe a later flight will go on sale!
