Christina,

AFFINITY: Collectively caring, sympathy for. In: the airlines and government need to be concerned about the PEOPLE AND FAMILIES, like certain european countries are, instead of just the security and the money to be made by airlines and the bankruptcies thereof. America huffs and puffs that we are a caring, family oriented society. How is it that France, Italy or any of the various European countries that we all love to visit have the old craftsmanship and family ties, but we do not cherish this concept?

Because we or our forbears were locked out of the guild culture and had to come to the US in order to make a living?

We have been going to either Rome or London every year at or about the end of December (a little later than you I think). But anyway, we always buy our tickets at the end of the summer after the primary travel season seems to be over. Two years ago we bought RT tickets to London for $375 ea.

Last year it cost us $500 to Rome. We are going again in December to Rome and I am also looking for a bargain, but think I will have to wait a couple of months yet.

DOC: It's been stated many of the USA web sites will also work for Canada.
What you need to do to try is use the same web site BUT instead of .com
use .ca

Hope this helps, Ken Lansing
