Airfare help needed

I need a CHEAP airline ticket from DFW to FCO, leaving August 29 and returning Dec 20. So far I've been quoted 1566pp. does anyone know where i can find a cheaper ticket??

Hi.

(I have a feeling you're going to get some abuse on this one...)

Try going to Orbitz, Hotwire, Expedia or any of the other dozens of websites that offer tickets. In light the unusual time frame, be sure to check out two one-ways rather just round trips.

Good luck.

Do a search of this site for "student airfare" and "student ticket".

I know there are many posts on agencies that can get special pricing for students.

I got great airfare to Europe via Sams Club. I don't know about domestic airfare through Sams Club but always get good prices through Southwest Airlines.

The advice from jenifer is good; there are agencies that specialize in just what you need - - and they avoid the high surcharges you are encountering - - for tickets applicable to stays of over (30, 60 or) 90 days.

STA travel and Council Travel are two such examples.

Best wishes,

Rex

If you are a student, you can also try Student Universe www.studentuniverse.com.
