Hi flygirl. I just purchased a ticket from Airfare.com. 1-800-886-4988. It is the first time I used a consolidator.
Use extension 228 for Daniel. He was very helpful

The site came up on Sidestep when I was checking all possible sources for a trip to Klagenfurt, Austria.

You can check their website, but the fare ended up being even less expensive when I called them.

Good luck.

Try 1800flyeurope.com . It was recommended to me by someone here -- I forget who did. In any case, I just bought a ticket for NYC -> LHR roundtrip yesterday for about $480 for June, taxes included.

It's just part of a more complicated trip and I booked the rest online (I'm visiting Mykonos, Chania (Crete), Brussels, and returning from Amsterdam).

We used airlineconsolidators.com. Just make sure to keep checking your itinerary if you do book a ticket. They advise you to do this anyway - but we had 2 changes to ours. These were changes caused by the airlines though, not the consolidator. But don't count on the airlines to notify you. The bottom line is, though, that we got a fabulous price on our airfare - $400 per person from Raleigh to Bern, Switzerland. We made our reservations about 6 months out.

That's one nice fare, nicks. I just don't know how people end up with these kinds of fares. I've never managed to score like that!

Believe me, when I saw it, I jumped on it! We normally fly directly from RDU to NY then to Zurich. Granted, this trip involves a little more - RDU to PHL to MUC to BRN. But my husband's mother lives in Biel, so actually flying into Bern is closer to her anyway. The last trip we took there in 2002 we paid $700+ per ticket. So we were thrilled with this price despite the extra stop.

Dates and cities are quite important, but the fare looks reasonable nonetheless.

Looking for a good fare CLT-CDG in October- so far $764 is best I can get. Any ideas? Can you rely on "Consolidators"? Thanks for any ideas.

How interesting--me too. I just went through these ideas above and found one for about $600 through Dallas!! I'm holding out for a better route! If you can go the first week of November there is a good sale.

My dad has used www.airlineconsolidator.com - no plural - and was very pleased. He had some special needs for a group, and they were extremely helpful. Is this the same company you guys are using? The plural spelling is taking me to a directory of sites, and then wants me to change my homepage...
