Air Tahiti Nui, Anyone flown ??

any experience with them. They claim to have a young fleet of Air Bus and fly non stop to paris from LA, which is perfect for me. Prices on the websit are not good but on expedia with 2 nights 3 star in paris for Oct- Nov. $647.00 per person are very good.

My husband and I flew non stop on Tahiti Nui from LA to Tahiti. The planes seemed newer. All chairs had individual screens for movies, trivia, etc. Very good service and food was pretty good too. French spoken.

I've flown them several times, most recently in 2002, also on the Los Angeles - Papeete route. Although I like their service and food, you should be aware that:
One of their planes has the most uncomfortable seats of any airline I've flown, and,

You'll be boarding with passengers who've already spent 8.5 hours in the air on the return flight from Papeete. I think stormygirl would agree it's fair to say that few people are happy to leave Tahiti, and 8.5 hours in the air usually doesn't improve their moods. And the fact that most of them are French, well......

Anyone else have info on this airline? I'm planning on flying this airline as well this september LAX to PAR.

Are seat reservations allowed? Also, their website says that they do not use e-tickets. Is this info still up to date?

THANK YOU!

I've flown them last year. Good experience. From LAX to Paris 10.5 hours, non stop, quite doable. Food was better than on AA, service was attentive. The flights were on time, no turbulence, what else could I ask for?
