Our plane on Amer. Air got cancelled due to mechanical problems. We raced to an airport 2 hours away and made it just in time for an Air France flight. we were happy to have made it but....we flew the exact plane home on Amer. Air. What a difference! Amer. Air is MUCH roomier. ON our 9 1/2 flight that made a huge difference. The attendants at the airport were far nicer on Air France but the plane was jammed packed and the food not great. The only thing good was they served lots of french bread and the people at the airport. We will stick with American Air for the greater room you have on an international flight.
