We used FF miles to fly Lufthansa. They have sleeper seats.

My wife and i flew AF from ATL to CDG in May using FF miles and are doing it again in Jan. I believe it leaves at 9:30 PM? Yes you get fully reclining beds, great free PJ's, cocktails, wine etc. We had a couple drinks, dinner, then an ambien, woke up just before landing to hot towels etc. Very nice, though my favorite so far is the Lufthansa PHX-Frankfurt, nicer and more proffesional flight attendants. You'll enjoy AF, HAVE FUN!

Hi Kismet,
I was just wondering since I'm originally from Houston and will be there in October. I was thinking maybe we could get a GTG going there, but no dice. However, I'm planning to possibly go to Bandera while I'm there, as well. Thanks for the info.

Kismet, I didn't realize you lived in SA. We have very close friends (with whom we have traveled the world, in fact) who live in Bandera! Next time we visit, let's have a margarita!
Statia, I have to ask what you're going to do in Bandera, tiny town that it is? Going to a dude ranch?

Marilyn, we actually know quite a few people in Bandera, but we mainly go because my sister and brother in law run a dude ranch there. We are also friends with the owners of 11th Street Bar. We love just relaxing up that way and have been going there off and on for years.
I agree Seamus, maybe we should all get a San Antonio area GTG going at some point. Or, even a Texas GTG!

Forgot to mention...yes, lunch with some Fodorites would be great. If I can make it up to Bandera, I'll be there some time during the first two weeks of October.
Guess this isn't an AF thread anymore. I certainly hope that Richardson found his/her info. If nothing else, at least we're keeping it topped!
