Aer Lingus strike

Does anyone have any current information on the Aer Lingus strike? I will be flying on Aer Lingus from Amsterdam to Dublin next Saturday (4 September) and I'm worried that this strike is going to affect the service.

We are flying a few days after you. I could not find any news updates. I called Aer Lingus, reconfirmed our flights and asked if they were still flying. The agent responded "as far as I know."

Check out the Irish Times website (www.ireland.com) - there's a free front page story re: the union's objections to the airline's restructuring plan, and it would appear it could impact flights this Saturday, August 28th. Also note that the affected flights are likely to be FROM Shannon, Cork, and Dublin...
Good luck, hope this helps.

Thank you for the news links. Here's hoping the talks go well enough to keep the planes flying...
