Advice Sought for a Driver from Paris to Colmar
Good morning-
We will be in Paris in Aprill 2024. It has been our dream to visit the town where Christine Ferber's jam is made and sold in Niedermorschwihr. I know its about a 2.5 hour fast train trip to Colmar, just about 10 minutes away but my husband has mobility issues and couldn't navigate the train/station.
Looking for an alternative to a private driver (quotes seem to be coming in at about 1500 euros each way). Any other thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

The French railway SNCF has service for disabled people. It's called SNCF Connect. I've never used it, but my daughter used a similar service of the Italian railway. She was temporarily disabled; she could walk but not navigate the station, traveling alone with her luggage. They met her at the taxi stand with a wheelchair, took her to the train, and helped her onto the train.
I see that they even have discounts for the companion of the disabled person.

. Trying to navigate this website as it appears that there are several options, including pick up at home for a fee.
Will attempt to figure this all out and/or reach out to a customer service agent for live assistance.
Most grateful!
