I also flew Philly-Rome on US Air a couple of weeks ago. It's a direct flight, about 8 1/2 hours. My flight left Philly at around 6pm and got in to Rome at about 8:30am.
The flight back from Rome was actually very scenic, since we flew over the Alps and got a lovely view of the snow-capped mountains.

what's going on? A whole raft of vaguely-worded headings, all objected to by Rex (rightly so), and all sitting at the top of the message list because 'helpmewithtravel' has gone and planted a single-letter reply on every one of them. Is it a new game called 'Let's Clog Up The Forum'? What's with the message 't' anyway? Surely 'ttt' is quick enough to type without reducing it even further?

ok the first post was obviously a mistake but now that it's clarified, i think the poster just wants some information on what other travelers who live in Pitt do when flying to europe. why is it necessary to "send her back to her room" to do her homework. if you don't have any insight on this, then ignore it.
