Activities in Barcelona

I am going to Barcelona for a weekend with my boyfriend and we are looking for some activities to do. We will stay for 3 days but we have never visit the city before. Does anyone has some tips? We would like to do something active.

I am not sure what you mean by active. You can walk to the top of Montjuic. There are spectacular views of the City, a Miró museum, and the Olympic stadium.

You can walk and see all things Gaudí.

You can fight the crowds on The Ramblas and visit one of the best markets in Europe La Boqueria.

there's a charming music-bar located in a C16th mansion named Palau Dalmases. We drank very good Pina coladas , listening to 2 bosanova musicians. Exquisite place, certainly expensive drinks but we had fun ! http://www.palaudalmases.com/

Go to Sagrada Familia EARLY in the day.

And don't skip Las Ramblas even when there are a lot of people there; the living statues alone are worth the visit.

You can visit the city beaches tram stop Barceloneta ...beautiful! Las Ramblas for sure, and La Boqueria. The fountains at the foot of Montjuic are stellar at night. You will find there's just not enough time!!

I have been to Barcelona last April and I did a cycling tour with Baja Bikes through the city which was great! You can get to know the city fast and we cycled to all the highlights with a tourguide who told us information. We are from Holland and the guide was Dutch, so we had the tour just in our own language with 6 other people.

We also went to the Montjuic and Parc Guel, great city
