Accomodations on Aran Islands
I am taking my mother to Ireland the first week of September and we will visit the Aran Islands. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to the best island to visit. The isolation and solitude of the islands are fascinating but we would like to be close enough to a pub or some evening activity to walk to since we are spending the night. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

From what research I've done (I'm visiting in June, but not staying overnight on the Aran Islands) Inis Mor (large island) is the one with the greatest possibility of evening activity. They have a pub called the American Pub, I think.
Of course, the other islands probably have some as well, but I hear of Inis Mor most often when people speak of staying over.

Thank you to Green Dragan and Lucielou for the info on Aran Islands. The link was helpful as well. From my research, I have also concluded that Inis Mor is the best place to stay. Hope you have a wonderful time in June Green Dragon!
Thanks again!
