Following our week in the western Languedoc Roussillon (now the Occitanie: http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...-occitanie.cfm) our little band of travelers headed westward to the Atlantic Coast. The region is of course too large for only a week, and so we focused on the area from Arcachon in the south to as far north as La Rochelle - both coastal and inland.
