A Swiss Trip Wow, featuring Kandersteg, Zermatt & BO
It's hot here in Australia and I'm missing winter! To entertain myself and others who might be missing Switzerland, I've put together a wee slideshow, with the help of a toy I've just discovered:

Enjoy!

WOW, Mel that's great. So many memories, thanks for sharing. Oh yeah, we had rosti at the same place, yum.
Hope you are staying in the aircon, so over this heat! We really must catch up for a coffee. I lost your email address when our computer died.

Thanks for sharing your photos. I enjoyed the layout and the shots themselves.
We're headed to Switzerland in late August and I'm trying to plan which lake(s) to spend time at for 6 nights (before we head out on a cruise). I'm pushing towards Montreaux and Lake Geneva, but we have time for another lake if I could only decide. I was thinking Lake Como in Italy. Any thoughts? (I'll probably post this as a question on this site next weekend - I don't know how to get back to the questions I've asked to review the answers so I have to stay connected until all the answers come in.)
Oh, one more thing....what's rosti?

Great slideshow! We have just returned from a similar trip (same "place of origin" and many of the same destinations). We had lots and lots of snow however so I'm keeping cool now by sorting through my photos! Just loved Switzerland!

I don't understand it either, but TA seems to want to connect everything to FB - apparently they can tell if you have an account - I just joined FB a few weeks back, but I might bail, as I don't want everything interconnected.
Challenger - rosti is similar to hash browns, a popular potato dish in Switzerland; it comes in many varities.
Can't help with your lakes question, sorry.

Just click on "profile" under your screen name in the upper right hand corner of this (or any) forum page...all of your topics and threads you've posted on will appear there.

I forgot to mention that the very long, very detailed trip report that accompanies these photos is here on Fodor's. Just click on my name, and scroll down through my trip reports to April in the Alps.
