Thanks Tina

I often think when wondering around on holiday if that person with the gentle smile might be a Fodor's friend, and this might be a nice way to know.

Of course, it does mean transferring said bacdge or ribbon from outfit to outfit since in warm weather we dont always wear a coat, but its a nice idea none the less...

Kav

I will be looking for all you Fodorites in Hungary and Vienna. I will be there from May 30-June 26. I will be wearing my blue Fordor ribbon on the left side of my blouse, shirt or dress, whatever I am wearing. I can't wait to meet others from this site, it should be fun.

Hello, Fodors

Any feedback for us about this project? The spring/summer/fall travel season is almost here, so let us know if you're planning to help us identify our Fodor Friends while we're scattered about the globe. Seems like a good marketing idea as well.

Thanks for your consideration.

OK I'm on board, I'll be in Italy(Cinque Terre, Florence, for first 3 weeks of August. Sounds like a fun experiment, we should all report back after our trips with the number of people we actually met! See you all, I'll be the one in the gelato parlour gazing longingly at Mario!

Excuse me, did someone suggest we PAY for these ribbons ???

I think we've come up with an excellent marketing idea for the Fodor's. And I don't mind promoting the forum, but if there's any compensation to be exchanged, then THEY should be paying us!

Uh-oh

No profit intended. Meant to indicate that I would be happy to buy one of the little thingies, preferably at cost. But it would be a neat gesture of good will to distribute them gratis, not to mention the publicity Fodors would get when we're running all over the world sporting the little thingies on our lapels or whatever.

Angel, don't worry! I'm sure, by now, we newbees will know a Pompous Ass when we meet one! No fuchcia jackets, either, altho that was a "fun run"! The pin idea is a good one, too. Do I get a commission? JUST JOKING!!!!

Looking forward to meeting my on-line friends!
