a great flight on British Airways

hi,

Since flying is often not the most pleasant experience in the world, I just wanted to compliment British Airways on a terrific flight that I had with them. This was my first trip using them.

I traveled British Airways from Newark, New Jersey to Amsterdam (mid March) and then from Paris to Newark (early April).

On all legs of journey, the service, seats, food were all terrific. Of special note were the movies and "movie system". For example, on my flight home (Paris-> Newark) on a 777 in economy class, each seat had its own movie screen (on the back of the seat in front of you) and there were multiple channels with a wonderful selection. I saw Vertical Limit and then Meet the Parents.

- Lee

Lee, I agree. My flight on BA in Feb. was good for coach class. I saw "Meet the Parents"and "Almost Famous" on the BA flight too. The good movies help make up for the coach experience IMO. I also like the complimentary toothbrush and paste, plus the headrest that wraps around your neck... and the comfy socks too! Plus the food was decent and wine was ok (yum, had Stella beer too) I would definitely, if given a choice, I would choose BA again.
Judy

I think what you liked the most on these flights was the 777s you were on. They are definitely more comfortable than other planes. I've even had good flights on UAL (how is that possible?) when booked on a 777. That said, BA flight attendants do a professional job.

Kam: you are probably right, but I have been on an AF 777 and a Delta 777, I think BA was better overall.

You know, I keep seeing bad things about United on this forum and elsewhere, but I've flown with them to London about 6 times, and I've found them to be better than BA or Virgin. And yes, I do love those 777s. Whatever airline I'm flying, that's what I look for.

Lee: I have flown to Europe on most of thwe available airlines and the very best flight I've had was on United surprisingly. The service was excellent, and it was an all-around pleasant experience. I will be flying to france in June on BA once again and I'm sure I will have a nice flight. The attendents are always extremely helpful. Let's hear it for 777's!
