Here's another vote for Nova Huta. I was surprised to say the least when DH suggested going there but we spent a very interesting morning there, found not only Cardinal Wojtyła's church but another one as well, and a great market where we had a lot of fun trying to buy our lunch.

Oh thanks so much for the info and links! I will take the time to look closely at all the suggestions!
Apologies for not checking in earlier...just finalising details for a trip coming up so I put the Germany/ Greek isles aside for a bit
I do believe we will soon be booking the catamaran but that's OH's job

Yeah, I think it's a good idea to learn about the victims and the perpetrators in one trip.
