9 day Portugal Itinerary Sept 2019

Hello, My husband, son (13yrs) and I are going to Portugal for the first time at end of Sept, early October. We have 9 nights. My son has 2 camp friends from Lisbon we will be seeing, so we will not plan too many specifics in LIsbon the first 2-3 days (their families may take us around). In terms of getting out of the city for a few days after Lisbon, I have looked up quite a few forum posts and went from a rather busy itinerary to a much simpler one. I originally had Aveiro, Coimbra and Porto in there but 9 days is not enough time. Instead managed to fit in Sintra, Cascais, Tomar, Obidos, Alcobaca, Bathala, Nazare, and Evora.
Any comments or suggestions would be really appreciated. We don't mind walking a lot, love exploring towns, historical sights, beautiful views, and some fun/cool things for our 13 year old:

Day 1: arrive Lisbon 7am, not really planning anything, ...wonder around. Sleep Lisbon
Day 2: Lisbon: sightseeing (would like to walk to Sao Jorge Castle, Alfama). Sleep Lisbon
Day 3: Lisbon: sightseeing (+ maybe kids would like Oceanario). Sleep Lisbon
Day 4: Train to Sintra, spend the day/evening, sleep Lisbon
Day 5: Train to Cascais (visit the town, beach?, maybe coastal walk, especially if sunny day-think kids will like this) sleep Lisbon
Day 6: Rent a car (in town or airport?), spend 1/2 day in Tomar, drive to Obidos. Sleep Obidos
Day 7: From Obidos visit Alcobaca, Bathala, (or maybe one or the other) , drive to Nazare (promenade walk, wave viewpoint, lighthouse), back for evening in Obidos, sleep Obidos
Day 8: Drive to Evora in a.m., sleep Evora
Day 9: Spend day in Evora, drive to airport hotel late evenings. This will be Republic Day in Portugal
Day 10: fly home (early)

Thanks so much in advance,

Seems great to me! If you really want a wild coastal walk vs Cascais (pronounced something like 'cahsh cahsh') to a bus from Cascais to Cabo di Rocca, the western msost tip of the European continent - even farther west than Ireland's west coast - and a place where waves slam into the big rock Cabo di Rocca is:

I'd take Batalaha or Alcobaca is need to chose but that's just my take. Neither need take long - Batalha is outside any city so easy to drive to - Alcobaca is in a small town.
