7:30 or 10 Dinner Reservation in Barcelona?
I know that "eating hours" in Barcelona are typically later-- beginning at 9:00 pm. We've got our names on a Michelin starred restaruant (Cinc Startits) and we've been told we can have the 7:30 pm Rez or the 10:00 rez. Cannot decide which one to take.
BCN people- which one would you suggest? I'm slightly worried about the late dining time, mostly because it could be midnight before we leave. What would everyone suggest? I need to make a decision today. Help!

I would stroll the gotic quarter before dinner and take the 10pm booking. The 07.30pm seating me be too lonely....
Is that the restaurant you are talking of http://www.cincsentits.com/en/situacio.htm
Enjoy!

I loved Cinc Sentits! We took the only reservation they had left for one night and it was at 10:00. This was fine, because we had adjusted to the late dinner times in Spain. The restaurant is beautiful and intimate, so it isn't like there will be a big crowd at any time. Make the reservation for whichever time you feel like eating. I doubt you will be alone.

Looking at my trip report, I see that we paid 200 euros for the two of us. However, we went for the big splurge and ordered the most expensive tasting menu and ordered an item that incurred a supplement. It was possible to get out for substantially less, perhaps even half as much. This was probably the most expensive meal we have ever had in a restaurant, but it was one of the best restaurant meals we have ever had.

The locals don't really come out until after 11, do they?
