6:30pm Shuttle from Beauvais Airport: Traffic Issues?

We will be flying Ryanair from Pisa to Paris (Beauvais Airport). I have checked for other airports, double checked times on both EasyJet and Ryanair, looked into taking the train and on and on. The train takes too long and is pricey and EasyJet gets into Orly at 10:30pm, so Ryanair looks to be our only option. My concern is taking the shuttle at 6:30pm on a Tuesday. Would traffic be horrible?

How far in advance can reservations be made?

Thank you !

Why is Ryanair your only option?

We only have 3 nights in Paris, so don't want to take the time a train would require. EasyJet gets into Orly at 10:30pm and do not want to get in to Paris that late.

We were hoping to arrive in Paris in the afternoon, but there are no flights out then. The larger airlines are over $1,000 for the short flight !

There is always the possibility of unanticipated traffic issues (accident blocking lane, etc.) but barring that you would get into Paris between 8 and 9 PM.

Assuming it is. Will you be driving?

No, we won't be driving, Ira. I'm just being a bit cranky about the idea of getting into Paris later than I want

It's an overnight SLEEPER train - therefore you are travelling when sleeping so overall travel time doesn't really matter

I haven't taken a car/taxi into Paris at that time in a long time, but I have no reason to presume traffic on that route will be horrible at 7 pm.

If that's your only option, anyway, you don't seem to have any choice, given your parameters.

Anyway, you are getting INTO Paris and if traffic is the issue it will be a mess in the other direction. Hope this helps.
