50 minutes between flights IST=>DLM on Turkish Airlines
Turkish Air has set our departure time from IST to DLM back by 25 minutes, leaving us only 50 minutes from scheduled landing to departure. There are no available seats between 0630 and 2330....and we will miss the departure of our boat with that. Arriving and departing on Turkish Airlines flights.....only carry on luggage.
Can we make the connection from International arrival to Domestic departure in 50 minutes? FAQ says it is a 5 min walk....I suppose we go through customs at DLM.
Thank you....

Tell stewardess on your flight of your predicament.
She should be able to provide you with a vehicle to the passport area and a quick pass through the diplomatic or crew window.
The distance to domestic may take longer than 5 but less than 10 minutes but you will have to take escalator to secon floor, departures and go through security.
Apologize and get to front of queue if there is one.
But still, you will have a very hard time.
It is more than possible that THY will take you by vehicle directly from plane to your domestic flight and you can get through passport control at Dalaman.
Definitely make sure that this is how it will be handled, and do not miss it.
Good luck.

Yes, you need a visa for Turkey if you are American.
You can buy one at the airport, but I would think you could get one ahead of time from Turkish Embassy.
I would also think you would go through Immigration in Istanbul as you are staying in Turkey and are not "in transit."
Hopefully otherchelebi will see this and help you.

Yes, we got our visa on-line in advance and printed it at home before leaving. Be sure to keep the visa with your passport, you'll have to show it again when you leave the country (we didn't and fortunately found it easily).

Yes we already have the VISA purchased online and printed! Thanks for all the advice! On the return, we have 7 hours in IST, so plenty of time!
other....what is THY?
