5 Night Ireland Itinerary Help!
So just the other day I happily booked a vacation to Ireland for the last week in September. I've always wanted to go and so I'm now excited in trying to figure out exactly where I want to go. Of course, having always wanted to go here and now only having 5 nights to do it in, I'm running all over the place looking at all these lovely places to visit but unsure of what I can manage in just 5 days of visiting! We have vouchers for B&B anywhere in Ireland so I can pretty much look into going anywhere I want.
Here's the rough plan I've worked up:
Day 1: Arrive in Dublin early morning (before 10 assuming there are no delays) and the spend the day exploring the city. We're already booked in a hotel to stay the night here.
Day 2: Head south for the Waterford/Cork area for a day and night.
Day 3 - 4: Head west to spend two nights in the Killarney and visit either Dingle Peninsula or the Ring of Kerry.
Day 5: Head north to the Shannon area and take a trip over to the Cliffs of Moher and other locations in this area.
Day 6: Depart from Shannon at 2pm.
I don't necessarily want to rush through everything but I want to see so much! Comments and suggestions on places to visit or avoid or not bother with would be excellent.

You actually have a good plan, as the distances aren't bad. We stayed at Dingle Bay at a lovely B&B years ago, and driving both around it and Ring of Kerry I was glad to be staying at Dingle Bay because it was free of the tour buses. I assume you are driving.
Your itinerary will give you a good taste of the country in the short time you have.
