5 days in Andalucia
My wife and I will be departing Seville early this May for 4 nights in Andalucia before departing Granda for Barcelona. I am thinking of the following route;
Seville
Arcos - Ronda (1 night Ronda)
Tarifa - Algeciras - Gibraltar (safe to stay here?) -
Malaga - Nerja (1 night)
Nerja - Granada(2 nights)
Depart for Barcelona
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

If the only thing you want to see in Granada is the Alhambra, 2 nights is sufficient. If you have any interest in any of Granada's other treasures, a 3rd night might be necessary.
If you haven't already made plans to see Cordoba, I would encourage you to consider it.

Hello. We had a month in Spain last may, mostly in Andalusia which was absolutely amazing ! My “must go back one day” picks were Seville, Cadiz, Córdoba, Ronda and Granada. We went to tarifa and malaga but think Cadiz or Córdoba would be a much better option given your time constraints. The seafront and town of Cadiz are just really different (not like Europe at all really) and the mezquita at Córdoba is fantastic as was Córdoba generally. Tarifa is a very windy place, you need a fleece even when it’s 25 degrees, not much there apart from a lovely sandy beach and windsurfing. Malaga was ok but not as fascinating as those places I mentioned earlier. As for Gibraltar I decided to give it a miss after some research about its value and the time to get in and out ..
granada was lovely - we had 3 nights there and I could easily do so again.
hope you have a great trip !

I loved Granada, stayed there only 2 nights, but sort of wished I'd had a third. In particular, the tapas culture in this town is extraordinary and unique (for more, see No Reservations Granada). If you're interested in the Alhambra, tapas, flamenco, and getting a good sense of general Andalucian culture, I'd add an extra day (but that's just me).
