3 Weeks in the Forest of Dean

My husband and I will be staying around Blakeney in the Forest of Dean for 3 weeks in April, we are looking for self-catering cottages. Any suggestions?

Hi Jenny,
Firstly have a look at this website:
http://www.visitforestofdean.co.uk/

Forest of Dean is about half an hour from my home by car and somewhere we love to visit.

The cotswolds is easily accessible from F.O.D.

What kind of things do you like to see? let us know and we could perhaps offer some ideas.

You have rivers, lakes, mountains, castles, villages, historical monuments, ancient churches, abbeys, cathedrals, large cities, small market towns, beaches, country walks, scenic drives all easily within your reach.

Cardiff for example is about half an hour away by car and well worth a visit.
