3 Days in Southern Bavaria
Need some advice on stops and hotel/b&b recs:
Our tentative plan is that we fly into Munich from US this month. Will rent a car the morning we arrive and drive to Füssen to see Neuschwanstein from the outside, then off to Garmisch. My mom lived in GaPa so would like to spend the night there and explore on day 2. From there we want to do a tour of Eagle’s Nest in Berchtesgaden on day 3. We have a rental car that we need to return on the German side either in Traunstein or Freissling to catch a train to Salzburg in the morning of our 4 th day.
Can you recommend some must visits and where to stay in moderately priced accommodations, pubs, restaurants and short hikes.

We were in this area last year a out this time. In Munich, we had great stays at Pension Lindner as well as Hotel am Viktualienmarkt. We did a full day tour to the Eagles Nest from Salzburg and it was very good. We lucked out too and the weather was great and the views were stunning.
