25 days is not long enough to drive around the 'major sites in Europe'. There are hundreds in many countries. So - What specific places did you think of visiting?
Cars are great in rural areas, but are often next to useless (or worse) in the major cities. What sort of trip do you envision - mainly a road trip? Or a scenery trip through rural France or the Alps or? Or do you want to see places like Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Venice or ??????

25 days sounds like a lot of time, but it isn't, especially if you are trying to see several different countries.
You need to prioritize the places you REALLY want to see. Only you know what your interests are and if you are primarily interested in museums, scenery, mountains, lakes, big cities, small towns, etc.
Give us that information and then we can help you plan an itinerary that best suits your needs.

You will need to drop the car back in France to avoid cross border one way drop off fees.
You will be spending a lot of time in teh car to cover all the ground you want to cover. i suggest you use viamichelin or similar to look at the distances and times it takes to drive to all those places.

25 days won't cut it. Calais to the Riviera, to Venice through Austria and Germany and Prague. Too far and too little time. You have 4 weeks - not enough time for 5 countries is you are driving the whole way.
By any chance, is this a lease program or are you maybe picking up a new car to drive around before having it shipped home? If so, you should plan a driving itinerary that makes sense. You'll get lots of help here narrowing down the scope.
Otherwise, a driving trip to those places isn't necessarily the best option. You can rent cars for a week or two in various segments - but trains or planes are better for covering some of those long distances. And rental drop off fees are killers. It is always better to pick up and drop cars w/i the same country if at all possible.
