Thank you to all that replied.
jgg – I am shortchanging Rome, agreed. I would love to skip it and give it proper attention on a future trip, but there is no way my fiancé will agree to this. As for sightseeing our goals are to checkout St Peter’s Square (not entering any Vatican buildings), and a take a guided 3 hour tour that covers the Colosseum (includes the newer underground areas), Forum & Palatine Hill. That seems somewhat reasonable to do in our 4 nights, 2 full days, and 2 half days in Rome. Not my first choice and I think we’ll be miserably hot but this is just a concession I must make. Happy husband, happy honeymoon…is that the saying? I think we would like to splurge on a private driver for the entire Naples-Pompeii-Praiano leg, thanks for the Sorrento First Choice recommendation.
kybourbon – I didn’t know about the JFK/PSA flight, and I will definitely look into it, thanks for that. I haven’t ruled out changing up the route within Italy. My original thinking is that starting in Tuscany would give us a relaxed, slower placed atmosphere to ease into the culture and practice our Italian by staying at a small family run B&B/Agriturismo. Big, busy & crowded cities can stress me out if I’m not braced for it. I think we’ll get started off on a better foot in Tuscany. In Siena I have been browsing a view small, family operated places online, this one most recently http://www.agriturismomarciano.it/ Do you have a lodging recommendation in Siena?
Mimar, thanks for the confidence!
bobthenavigator, I will post the villa as soon as it is officially locked in. I asked them to make one exception to their policy for me yesterday & when I hear back from them I will pay deposit and then post a link.

Kybourbon - How do you suggest we travel from Siena to Praiano if we were to do Rome first, then Tuscany, then Praiano? And does time allow travel between them WITH a visit to Pompeii in the same day?
Thanks.
Thanks.
