A couple summers ago we did a really nice self-guided Loire Valley trip of 9 nights. The price was MUCH more reasonable than anything else we'd seen. Claude at Anjou Bike Center arranges custom designed bike trips.

We leave in three weeks for a week in Paris then a week cycling in the Dordogne. We will be with EEI - http://tinyurl.com/krdau. Have not seen them reviewed, and although they subcontract out the biking they have been etremely professional and helpful. I will write up a report when we get back. Here are some links that may be helpful - tour reviews: http://tinyurl.com/f8cq7 and more general info: http://tinyurl.com/gu36d.
