2 Kensington Holiday Inns-?
Thanks to the help of Fodorites, we've decided to redeem points and stay in the Kensington area at a Holiday Inn. Now, I've discovered that there are actually two:
Holiday Inn
LONDON-KENSINGTON-FORUM
97 Cromwell Road
and
Holiday Inn
LONDON-KENSINGTON
100 Cromwell Road
These are obviously VERY close together. Curious as to which is better? Anyone with any recommendations? Thank you.

One Holiday Inn is next to the post office and across the street from the Gloucester Road tube stop. If you're looking at it on a Web site, it's the one that is housed within several white former townhomes.
The other is the former Forum Hotel. It's a huge high rise just around the corner from the same tube stop.
I've stayed at the Forum several times (but wouldn't again--prefer the smaller boutique-style hotels) and the rooms, though small, are comfortable and the showers are powerful. There's an excellent "English" pub that even the locals frequent. This hotel also has a good restaurant and a gym. If the price is about the same, I'd stay in the Forum.

Two years ago my family and I stayed at the former Forum Hotel. It is large and impersonal as someone mentioned. Their pub restaurant does serve a nice fish and chips dish.
However, the rooms are too small for the rate they charged us. We didn't care for the room at all. It was tiny for three of us, even tiny for two.
Location is good as it's close in walking distance to Kensington High Street (I believe that's the main shopping street there).

I've stayed at the London Kensington. It was only for two nights and about five years ago. I just remember the room having 2 queen (I think) size beds, just like in the USA. It was the most American room I've seen in Europe...quite comfortable.
