As a solo traveller, I despise 2 for 1 deals.

topping - great info. Did not peruse ticket fares and such but assume these are better than the cheapest advance online TGV fares or is it 2 for 1 at full fare? And yes kerouac singles getting screwed.

This would have been great for us but we're travelling after the cutoff date of 2 Sept. If you see any other deals we'd be grateful of the alert. We have four weeks in France, all by public transport (mostly trains but possibly bus).

I bought my tickets in February for August travel. I was going to wait exactly 3 months before to buy them but I received an alert about a special and saw a great deal and bought them. I checked the 2 for 1 on the trains we will be traveling and my tickets are still cheaper although there are still good deals here.
