I stayed in #124960 by Odeon. It was wonderful! The Metro is nearby, and the enclosed market is around the corner. You must go up one flight of stairs after the elevator stops on the fourth floor but it is a very wide staircase and not too many steps. We had a fire in the fireplace the last night we were there. So nice!

If I can answer any questions please let me know.

I can vouch for the area that 92761 is in. We stayed in apt on Rue du Cherche Midi and Rue Sainte-Placide in Sept 08.

Thanks again everyone! I think we're ruling out the last two...still undecided on the rest. The Rue Jacob one was lovely but the 90 stairs up would just be too much carrying our toddler. ugh! 4 flights didn't sound that bad at first, but 90 stairs sounds a lot worse!

Question for gomicki about that Odeon VRBO. We are concerned when the owners post no guest comments, as this one does not. Any reason to be worried? Think we'll be sorry not to have air conditioning in May?

We used At Home Abroad at iloveparisapartments.com and had a great experience...easy to book, used my credit card online just like a US hotel, they had a reasonable cancellation policy (which we didn't need, but was nice to have in case) and it was spotless. Our apt. was a one bedroom on Ile St. Louis but they have 2 BR in 4, 5, 6th. Be sure you check for air conditioning if you're not going in winter, many apt. don't have it. Good Luck!
